The Garmin STRIKER VIVID 9sv Fishfinder makes it easier than ever to find fish, locate structure, and discover new hot spots thanks to its state-of-the-art sonar technology and built-in GPS. And the best part? You'll see it all on a vivid 9 inch color display with 7 high-contrast color options that allow you to quickly distinguish fish from everything else under the water. Get to the bottom and back faster to find fish easier If you haven't experienced the clarity of CHIRP, you've no idea what you're missing. Garmin ClearVu and SideVu scanning sonar gives you a nearly photographic, wide image of what passes below your boat. You'll get better separation between structure, submerged objects and fish. Plus, it's all combined in one easy-to-use transducer. CHIRP technology combined with ClearVu and SideVu sonar also allows for a higher level of clarity and detail than your standard 77/200 kHz inducer. It does this by sending a continuous sweep of frequencies, from low to high ranges. It then interprets these different frequencies upon their return to the STRIKER Vivid 9sv. Because different frequencies are used, the information you receive gives you a crisper fish arch with greater target separation. Explore new spots and find your way back with ease. Constructed with a high-sensitivity GPS it quickly and accurately pinpoints your location and then continues to track your motion around the lake. This features allows you to mark your waypoints to return to the exact spot over and over again. You can also keep track of docks, ramps or even your favorite watering hole on the lake. To return to any given spot, simply select the spot you wish to return to, and follow the route provided. Plus, it'll also give you the speed and direction you're currently heading in.
