With an efficiency of 96%, this means that the furnace has an output of 115,200 BTU. The 96% AFUE also means that for the gas going into the furnace, 96% of it is used to heat your home while only 4% is lost out of the flue piping and to normal furnace operations.All furnaces at this efficiency (90% and above) requires plastic/PVC flue venting. If metal flue venting is required for your installation, an 80% efficient furnace would be needed instead. While this unit uses natural gas as fuel out of the box, we also have an LP conversion kit available at an additional cost. Please note that this furnace is not Ultra Low NOx compliant and if shipped to California may be subject to a mitigation fee.WarrantyACiQ offers 10 year parts warranty and lifetime (20 year) heat exchanger limited warranty.
