The two-piece system consists of an extruded aluminum base and a vinyl cap. Installation involves attaching the aluminum base along the perimeter of the opening then snapping the vinyl cap into place after laying the selected screen fabric between the cap and base. Youll also have to make the decision whether to miter your corners or make square cuts and utilize Plinth Kits (sold separately). Click this link for full installation instructions.The manufacturer recommends six screen fabrics that are compatible with their systems. These screen fabrics offer a variety of options when it comes to durability visibility and cost. The manufacturer DOES NOT recommend true pet screens solar screens nor any screens made with metal. NOTE: One length of Aluminum Base and Vinyl Cap per set. Screen wire and clear vinyl is not included.
