Designed to eliminate "water logging" and to ensure consistent water pressure of a water supply system, this 4.5 gallon Potable Water Expansion Tank is both lightweight and easy to install. This steel diaphragm tank is pre-pressurized and uses a heavy-duty rubber membrane to permanently separate the air and water within the tank to maintain consistent pressure without the loss of air to the water. This tank is light in weight, easy to install, and may be used with both hot water storage tanks as well as direct-fired hot water heaters (gas, oil or electric).
