As the full sun burns the leaves, this perennial grass loves to be planted in part or full shade. The leaves have a papery texture and are not dense enough to withstand the afternoon sun. Just plant it in humus-rich, well-drained soil, and it's a sure winner. It is virtually problem-free and deer resistant, making this grass perfect for gardeners of any skill level.
