My crapes are shipped in super strong boxes, carefully secured in their original containers, and never shipped bare root. Container trees can be planted at any time of the year, but crapes are especially tolerant of summer heat. They actually thrive in the heat. Depending on the variety chosen, your trees will arrive at your door about 6-12 inches tall. I am a school teacher and I grow hundreds of crape in my backyard. The town I live in, Waxahachie, is nicknamed the Crape Myrtle Capital of Texas. Shop your local nursery and see how much you are going to save!!
