EVERGREEN HEDGE: Wintergreen Boxwoods are evergreen perennial shrubs that provide year round color with its smooth, glossy, and emerald green leaves. With the mature sizes being between 4-5' H x 4-6' W they are wonderful topiary plants that provide a large work area. Japanese boxwoods have petite leaves ideal for shaping into topiaries. ATTRACTIVE: The dense foliage of the Korean boxwood will provide birds and butterflies plenty of area to eat, rest and nest. Use these plants as accent plantings, borders, container plants or even around windows as a form of natural privacy. EASY TO MAINTAIN: Upon planting make sure to moisten the soil, but once it is established watering is not needed. The English boxwood is a very heat and drought tolerant plant. Simply prune to your desired shape being sure not to remove too much material and that is it! USDA ZONES: Hardy in zones 4a-9b the Korean boxwood makes for a great addition to a space you would love to remain green throughout the seasons. Whether you choose to plant in full sun or part shade neither will be a problem for this boxwood. Afternoon sun is not a problem either! POTTED PLANT: Ships as a 2.4 gallon potted plant with soil from the Alabama Gulf Coast. Not guaranteed to be in bloom on arrival. May be pruned if desired after spring bloom.
