As a surveillance camera, it takes highly detailed 4MP video using a professional CMOS sensor. The wide angle lens covers the entire scene to ensure that no corner is missing. Polygonal privacy masking allows you to maintain subject privacy. The built-in infrared lights offer discreet surveillance even in pitch black conditions. Axis Q9216-SLV comes with enhanced security features to protect the camera system, like signed firmware and secure boot. The camera has a Trusted Platform Module for private storing all passwords and certificates, even in the event of a security breach. It uses Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology to deal with high contrast lighting, like strong shadows or sunlight through windows.
