Lawyers from the Manhattan District Attorney's called on a cast of blockbuster witnesses to corroborate their allegation that Mr Trump directed a hush-money payment to an adult-film star and authorised an illegal reimbursement scheme to avoid a sex scandal he feared would derail his 2016 presidential campaign.
