First of Sam Bankman-Fried's lieutenants sentenced to 7.5 years in prison - report
Ryan Salame, former CEO of FTX's Bahamas subsidiary and the first of Sam Bankman-Fried's close associates to be sentenced, was ordered to spend 7.5 years in prison, according to a media report. The sentence came eight months after he agreed to a plea deal with federal prosecutors over the collapse of crypto exchange FTX (FTT-USD).
