(CBS DETROIT) - Police have moved in on the pro-Palestinian encampment at the University of Michigan Tuesday morning. Officers could be seen removing several tents and other items that were set up on the Diag.

Meanwhile, the TAHRIR Coalition, a student-led coalition that advocates for the university's divestment in Israel and includes more than 80 student organizations, said in a post on X that police began clearing its encampment at about 6 a.m.
