PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Troy Fautanu is the newest member of the Pittsburgh Steelers after being selected in the first round of Thursday's NFL Draft. Fautanu heard his name called at No. 20 and now joins an offensive line ready to take the next step in 2024.

On Thursday, the Pittsburgh Steelers selected offensive tackle Troy Fautanu in the first round of the 2024 NFL draft. Fautanu gives the Steelers an athletic, physical offensive tackle to pair up with Broderick Jones. In college, Fautanu wore No. 55, but according to the team, based on a video on social media, he is making the switch over to No. 76.

Within hours of being taken by his new team, Fautanu was in Pittsburgh, taking in the sights and sounds of his new home.
