Samsung has teased its future wearable plans for the Samsung Galaxy Ring and Galaxy Watch 7 as part of its latest financial reporting.

While it doesn’t directly refer to it, Samsung’s press release on its Q1 2024 results hints at the launch of new ‘premium’ models for its smartwatch line. This would presumably be the Galaxy Watch Ultra model, which would supplement the Galaxy Watch 7 and Watch 7 Classic that are expected to be announced this year.

If the rumors are to be believed, the grand unveiling of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 series is going to be happening next month – and it looks very much as though we're going to get at least one premium-level smartwatch in the collection.

According to the Korean language publication Pulse, Samsung could announce blood sugar monitoring for the Galaxy Watch 7, a feature Samsung has discussed for some time. The report comes from a new Samsung press release that mentions the feature, though it never actually refers to the Galaxy Watch 7 by name.
