LOUISVILLE, Ky. – PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh said Wednesday that the organization continues to have conversations with Tiger Woods about captaining the U.S. Ryder Cup team in 2025 and there remains no firm deadline to get their pick in place for Bethpage Black.

He (Woods) obviously made it pretty public in Georgia a month or so ago, and I obviously was asked about it today,-Waugh said.

Speaking to the media at Valhalla ahead of this week’s PGA Championship, Woods said that while he talked to PGA of America CEO Seth Waugh after the Masters regarding the American captaincy, nothing has been determined as far as his role for next year’s match against Europe, going so far to raise doubt on taking the job.
