Lenovo announced on Monday that it’s adding two Qualcomm-powered laptops to its portfolio: one new Yoga Slim and one new ThinkPad.

Windows laptops are getting interesting again thanks to Qualcomm's Snapdragon X Elite processor, which is said to deliver similar performance to Apple's M-series chips that revolutionized the Mac line.

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x is exactly what I imagine when I think of a slim and portable laptop. At 12.80 x 8.86 x 0.51 inches and weighing 2.82 pounds, this svelte notebook is almost as thin and light as the 13-inch MacBook Air. And thanks to its sturdy aluminum chassis and tasteful Cosmic Blue color, it looks just as good as Apple’s popular laptop.

The consumer model here, the Lenovo Yoga Slim 7x, is a 14.5-inch laptop starting at $1,199. The machine is powered by Snapdragon X Elite and supports up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage depending on the specific configuration. Its display is an OLED panel with up to 1,000 nits of brightness and a 90Hz refresh rate.
