New York Yankees superstar Juan Soto has gotten off to a searing-hot start in pinstripes. In fact, his season has gone so well that some have even speculated about him possibly signing a mid-season contract extension with the Yankees.

The slugger caught the Orioles by surprise in the Yankees’ 2-0 win on Wednesday, stealing second on two occasions. The swipes doubled Soto’s stolen base total for the season, and he tried for another in the sixth inning. That time, he was thrown out at third.

The homer only brought the Yankees to within two runs, but Soto’s first response was to stand in the batter’s box and stare at Kremer for a couple seconds before flipping his bat and going into a home run trot that included a leaping high-five with third-base coach Luis Rojas and a finishing pose at the plate complete with a point to the heavens.
