Eliot Wolf, the son of Hall of Fame general manager Ron Wolf who spent over a decade in the personnel department of the Green Bay Packers, has been named the executive vice president of player personnel for the New England Patriots.

The New England Patriots officially announced Eliot Wolf as their executive vice president of player personnel on Saturday. In this role, Wolf will be in charge of the direction of the personnel department, salary cap management and control of the 53-man roster.
