After years of building up Game Pass as a viable part of its business, Microsoft is seemingly struggling to justify Call of Duty on Game Pass.

In an interview with Bloomberg at Bloomberg Tech in San Francisco, Xbox president Sarah Bond said, "You're going to see some more really big games going into Game Pass later this year" The interviewer interjected to say "from Activision?" and Bond replied, "Across the whole slate."

If you own an Xbox, there is little reason to not get Game Pass given the vast catalogue it offers. But how on earth is its subscriber base meant to keep expanding?

A new report suggests that Xbox Game Pass might get another price hike in the near future, in addition to some other major changes.

"And keeping that as something that is really special for Xbox players is central for us." Bond's answer seems to be pretty clear, but it's still possible that things could change by the time the next Call of Duty is released;
