Microsoft has acknowledged a new known issue causing this month's KB5037765 security update for Windows Server 2019 to fail to install with 0x800f0982 errors.

However, that would also have jettisoned the other features and fixes included in the April update. To install the latest May update, head to Settings, select Windows Update, and click the button to check for Updates.

In a post detailing the changes made in the May 14 update, Microsoft notes that the VPN issue was resolved and recommends users install the latest security update for all Windows devices, which to be honest is just good advice in general even if you've not been experiencing any VPN problems yourself.
