Mike Rome is currently serving as the SmackDown ring announcer. He had been on NXT from 2016 through 2019. He then scored the role as the Monday Night Raw ring announcer before moving to the blue brand. Whether or not this means Alicia Taylor is being moved to Friday nights remains to be seen.

Michin made a surprise appearance on the April 30 episode of WWE NXT. Damian Priest and other main roster stars appeared on the first night of the Spring Breakin’ special. Michin followed suit the following week.

This year’s WWE Draft has come and gone, with no main roster stars going down to NXT permanently. Blair Davenport, Kiana James, Carmelo Hayes, Baron Corbin, and Dijak were moved from NXT to the main roster across Raw and SmackDown.
