Del Rey and Cauthen crooned the classic that became a hit recording for the Righteous Brothers in 1965 — and was also famously performed by Elvis Presley in 1977, just two months before his death — during Cauthen’s set at the first night of the Indio, California, festival.

At the very end of Paul Cauthen’s Friday set at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival, Cauthen surprised fans with a surprise duet with singer Lana Del Rey.

Del Rey joined the " Hometeam " singer towards the end of his performance on Friday, taking the stage as the crowd cheered the duo. The singers took on the " Unchained Melody ," a song originally by Alex North and Hy Zaret that was most memorably covered by the Righteous Brothers in 1965.
