The former WWE champion is staying put. On Tuesday afternoon during the Pat McAfee Show, McAfee announced that former WWE champion Sheamus had signed a new contract to remain with the organization.

Former WWE Champion Sheamus is on cloud nine after signing a multi-year deal with WWE. At a time, when it appeared that Sheamus' wrestling days might be numbered in the company, the Celtic Warrior gave a huge surprise by signing a multi-year deal with WWE.

Sheamus has re-signed with WWE. Speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Pat McAfee announced that Sheamus had officially signed an extension with WWE. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful (via Fightful Select) confirmed the news with WWE sources.
