John Textor is attempting to sell his stake in Premier League side Crystal Palace. The American initially purchased a 40% slice of the Eagles back in the summer of 2021. He has since increased this stake to 45% last year.

John Textor says he is actively looking to sell Eagle Football’s stake in Crystal Palace and is exploring the purchase of alternative English clubs, including Everton. Textor’s Eagle Football owns a 45 per cent stake in Palace but he says he has now sought the help of investment banking firm Raine to find a suitable investor to purchase the group’s share in the club.

American businessman John Textor said Friday he is trying to sell his majority stake in Crystal Palace, which he owns 45% of through his company Eagle Football Holdings, and expressed an interest in purchasing Premier League rivals Everton.

The Crystal Palace co-owner is exploring the possibility of buying Everton and saving the club from the takeover headache it finds itself in.
