The mother of late ballerina Michaela DePrince has died just 24 hours after her daughter’s sudden death on Tuesday, Sept. 10. Elaine DePrince died during a routine procedure ahead of surgery, a family representative said.

Elaine DePrince, 77, had not been made aware of her 29-year-old daughter's death when she began preparation for her own surgery.

The mother of ballerina Michaela DePrince has died the day after her. Michaela, 29, died on 10 September while her mother Elaine died during a routine pro
