In Montgomery, Alabama, a crowded party turned violent when gunfire erupted, leaving 13 people injured, according to officials. The incident occurred early Sunday morning, with police and medical personnel responding to reports of shooting victims at approximately 1:46 am.

Nine people were shot, and four others were injured at a crowded party in the area of North Pass Road and Alabama River Parkway. Montgomery police and fire medics responded just after 1:45 a.m. Sunday. Montgomery Mayor Steven Reed said in a statement that more than 600 rounds were fired in the shooting.

Multiple people have reportedly been injured in a mass shooting outside a local grocery store in Arkansas.
