Samsung‘s May security update has finally landed on the US versions of the Galaxy S22, Galaxy S22+, and Galaxy S22 Ultra. The latest security patch is also rolling out to the Galaxy S21 FE in the US.

According to a reliable source, Samsung plans to bring a considerable upgrade to the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s camera array,

Samsung released a major camera-focused update in March for the Galaxy S24 series, but a new rumor says an even bigger one is on the way. Leaker Ice Universe says that One UI 6.1.1 is being developed for the Galaxy S24 Ultra and promises to be the biggest update since the series saw daylight.

From what we can tell, the S25 Ultra as described in the post will still have a 200MP primary camera and a 50MP periscope 5x module. Those are the same as the S24 Ultra. The upgrade comes with the other zoom lens (3x) and the ultrawide.

Samsung is expected to roll out a major camera update for the Galaxy S24 series in June. This update may address various camera shortcomings on the new flagships. However, it still may not unlock the true potential of the cameras.
