A bombshell report from NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski emerged on Thursday morning when he announced that the Los Angeles Lakers are deep in discussions with current Connecticut head coach and reigning back-to-back national champion Dan Hurley to coach the Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers shocked the sports world Thursday morning as reports indicate they’re pursuing UConn basketball coach, Dan Hurley. Nothing is set in stone just yet. However, the belief is he’ll take the job.

Dan Hurley still works for UConn, but rumors involving the Los Angeles Lakers have already sparked speculation about a potential successor. ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reported Thursday morning that the Lakers are preparing a "massive" contract offer to Hurley.
