Apple has just boosted the maximum Trade In prices that it's offering for old iPhones, but only for a short while.

Apple apparently must not want to clear out stocks before the iPhone 16 launches too badly, as the trade-in bonuses it has started offering can be beaten easily by the carriers.

Apple is improving its trade-in offers for those giving up their old iPhones and getting a new one. The deal is good on any new iPhone purchase, as long as you’re trading in at least an iPhone 11 or newer.

Apple for a limited time will increase the trade-in value for older iPhones when customers buy any iPhone 15 model in the U.S. and Canada.

If you have an old iPhone lying around that you want to get a few more bucks out of, now's the time to do it. Starting on Monday, Apple stores across the US and Canada, as well as Apple's online store,

“Starting Monday in the U.S. and Canada, you’ll get an iPhone trade in value boost at Apple retail stores if you use the credit towards an iPhone 15/Pro/Plus/Max,” Gurman said in a post on X. The journalist also says that the offer will be valid until June 3.

Apple wants you to upgrade your old iPhone and is willing to give you a bit more trade-in credit to convince you to do so. Until June 3, the Apple Store (both online and physical locations) is offering more money in trade-in value for your old iPhone when you trade it in for a newer iPhone.
