Central Texas’ first round of thunderstorms has already formed and is moving from Northwest Texas toward the Metroplex. While this cluster of storms should remain north of the area through the morning hours, a few pop-up showers and storms may begin to form as early as 10 AM.

Officials with the National Weather Service confirmed that at least seven tornadoes touched down in Arkansas during Memorial Day weekend.
