Sony has revealed that PS VR2 games will soon be available through a PlayStation Plus plan for the first time. The company also revealed that the major Days of Play sale will start on May 29.

PlayStation’s Days of Play is going big for the PS Plus June 2024 games lineup. The bumper update features new PS2 classics such as Sly Cooper and Tomb Raider Legend. PSVR2 games will be on Premium, including Ghostbusters: Rise of the Ghost Lord.

PS Plus is Sony’s monthly membership program that grants access to online gaming. You don’t need it for streaming movies or TV shows on Netflix and other services, or for free-to-play games like Warzone or Fortnite. Any paid online games, however, require a subscription.

The news comes from an official PlayStation Blog post that went live today (May 28), detailing what PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 owners can expect from the Days of Play event which begins on May 29. The event kicks off with a variety of themed PS Plus avatars that subscribers can download from the official PS Plus web page.

There's still time to grab this month's free PS Plus games, as Destiny 2: Lightfall, Ghostrunner 2, Tunic, will be available until June 3, and EA Sports FC 24 will hang around until June 17.
